Day3

In the morning, I watch the sunrise in the desert by myself, breathe fresh air that has not been polluted, bathe in the morning light, and feel the purity of nature. Enjoy breakfast at the desert campsite.

Shapotou Scenic Area (including admission fee, 20 kilometers, 0.5 hour drive, approximately 3 hours of visit) combines the beauty of Jiangnan scenery with the grandeur of the northwest desert. It is particularly famous for its three major features: "Desert Yellow River", "Miracle of Sand Control", and "Shapotou Bell". Standing at the foot of the sand slope and looking out, one can see the Yellow River, desert, green mountains, and oases all in one's sight, fully appreciating the timeless masterpiece of "the vast desert with straight smoke, the long river with falling sun".

The Western Xia Mausoleum (including admission tickets, electric scooter, 3D movie viewing, 180 kilometers, 3-hour drive, and approximately 2.5-hour visit) is one of the largest and most well preserved imperial cemeteries in China. It is the largest Western Xia cultural site in China and also the most important historical heritage and mysterious cultural landscape in Ningxia. Among the 119 national key scenic spots in China, the Xixia Mausoleum Scenic Area is the only one composed of a single imperial tomb. Due to natural and human factors over the past eight to nine hundred years, the ground buildings have been destroyed but the remains still exist, especially the 9 royal tomb platforms and more than 140 discovered burial tombs scattered in an orderly and scattered manner on the alluvial fans at the foot of the Helan Mountains, showing the former glory.

After the trip is over, take a car back to Yinchuan city and stay in a hotel to rest.

China Goji Berry Museum (15 kilometers, 20 minutes drive, approximately 1 hour visit) The China Goji Berry Exhibition Hall is a national 4A level scenic spot and a museum with the theme of displaying goji berry culture. The museum showcases the historical culture, industrial distribution, scientific research achievements, goji berry farming tools, and edible utensils of goji berries in China and Ningxia. Through a large number of historical documents, cultural relics, pictures, and sculptures, the museum comprehensively displays the history and culture of goji berries, including their planting history, cultural value, and application in traditional medicine.

Mingcui Lake Scenic Area (including admission tickets, electric scooters, and boats, 20 kilometers, 30 minutes' drive, and approximately 2 hours of visit) is a national 4A level tourist attraction and one of the "six most beautiful wetland parks in China". Visitors can see water herons flying from afar and wind and lotus rolling up close. Filled with grandeur, the beauty of Jiangnan suddenly gathers in the midst of reeds and water waves. Thousands of birds inhabit and breed here, sailing through the reeds, winding paths, and bird watching in mazes. They forget to return, gazing at the boundless horizon, like a poem or painting. A bridge, a corridor, and a staircase all have their own charm, allowing the light of the Yellow River civilization to penetrate through thousands of years of time and space.

Ningxia Museum (closed every Monday, within the city, 30 minutes by car, approximately 1.5 hours for visitors) is a comprehensive historical museum at the provincial level in China. There are nearly 40000 items in the current collection. Among them, there are more than 4000 precious cultural relics above the third level, and 159 national first-class cultural relics confirmed through appraisal. The twelve exhibitions in the three major sections of general history, special topics, and temporary exhibitions displayed on the first, second, and third floors of the new museum complement and complement each other, reflecting the historical culture and local characteristics of Ningxia from multiple levels and perspectives.

Helan Mountain Rock Painting (including admission ticket and electric scooter, 60 kilometers, 60 minutes drive, approximately 1.5 hours visit) The mountains here are rugged and steep, with clear springs flowing all year round, and rock sheep jumping freely.
