You can see these adorable pandas up close at places like the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Dujiangyan Panda Base, or Bifengxia Giant Panda Base. Beyond pandas, Chengdu has much more to offer. Enjoy exciting face-changing shows at Sichuan Opera, learn Sichuan cuisine cooking, challenge the spicy Sichuan Hot Pot, and explore ancient artifacts at the Sanxingdui Museum. Near Chengdu, there are even more amazing places to visit. See the Giant Buddha in Leshan, climb the holy Buddhist mountain Mt. Emei, or explore the fairyland-like Jiuzhaigou National Park, etc.
